ANÁLISE DA ACESSIBILIDADE PARA O FOMENTO DO TURISMO NA PRAIA DE PONTA NEGRA/RN

Abstract

O estudo analisou a acessibilidade na Praia de Ponta Negra, em Natal/RN, focando nas necessidades de pessoas com deficiência e mobilidade reduzida. A pesquisa, conduzida pelo OPOTUR e UERN, identificou que grande parte dos entrevistados considera os equipamentos urbanos e turísticos como inadequados para garantir pleno acesso. Apesar do potencial turístico da praia, a falta de infraestrutura acessível foi apontada como um fator que limita a experiência de visitantes. O levantamento sugere a necessidade de ações estratégicas para melhorar a acessibilidade e garantir a inclusão de todos os frequentadores.
