Publication Ethics and Research Integrity Policy

The Brazilian Journal of Tourism Observatories (ReBOT) adopts the principles of publication ethics and research integrity recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), following international guidelines and best practices for responsible scholarly publishing.

The journal is committed to promoting transparency, impartiality, and quality throughout the editorial process, while respecting the rights of authors, reviewers, editors, and affiliated institutions.

All manuscripts submitted to ReBOT are subject to similarity checks using plagiarism detection tools. The results of these analyses support editorial decisions regarding the continuation of the review process. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, inappropriate citation practices, or any other conduct that compromises the integrity of scientific research.

Authors are responsible for the originality of submitted manuscripts, the accuracy of the information provided, and compliance with the ethical principles applicable to their research.

ReBOT reserves the right to reject, withdraw, or retract publications that present evidence or indications of scientific misconduct, in accordance with international standards of publication ethics.
