URBAN ENVIRONMENTAL REGULARIZATION IN THE SOCIAL CONSTRUCTION OF THE LANDSCAPE: SOCIOESPACIAL PARTICULARITIES NOTED IN ASSÚ

Urban land irregularity is configured as one of the main problems inherent in the context of cities as this situation causes many losses the population, the environment and the economy. Thus, public policies for the regularization of social interest has much to contribute to the improvement of such a framework, they ensure the right to housing, they are linked to issues of environmental sustainability, improvement of housing conditions, or redo the profile historical type of access allowed housing to low-income families. In this sense, this research aims to investigate how land regularization actions of social interest held in Parati 2000 neighborhood, located in the municipality of Assu-RN, through the Program Access to Land Urbanized have influenced the socio-spatial construction of the city landscape . Therefore, it has as data approach one qualitative and quantitative research, with regard to your goal is a case study also carried out a literature review and site visits. Therefore, it is concluded that this type of public policy opens the possibility for infrastructure change in the neighborhood positively interfering in socio-construction of this space landscape, bringing economic improvement, social, environmental and urban planning to the neighborhood and its that city.
