THE PURSUAL OF THE POETRY IN THE MODERNITY: METAPOETRY AND CARLOS DRUMMOND DE ANDRADE"™S LYRICAL OEUVRE
Keywords:
Poiesis, Metapoetry, Carlos Drummond de Andrade, ModernityAbstract
This article aims at approaching Drummond"™s lyrical oeuvre from the perspective of his poiesis as presence production (vide Agamben, 2012) and as technique/labor (vide Perrone-Moisés, 1998), i.e. as a labor that produces (itself) – metapoetry. Therefore, at first, the modern critic-writer has been discussed, and then we analyze the "teaching-how-to-write-poems", so characteristic of Drummond"™s lyrical oeuvre and, finally, the role played by the reader in this ever-producing presence works (poem, author, reader) – through the projected reflection of the emerging poem.
