Abstract

This paper aimed at comprehending the meanings of reality presented in the
teachers"™ discourse. To do this, we proposed a discursive analyze on a pedagogical practice produced with the teachers from some public schools of São Paulo State, in Campinas city, into the context of the course named "Teia do Saber - Ler para aprender: Leitura e materiais didáticos". Besides taking to the consideration a reflection on the imaginary representations about school, research and reality, we analyzed an activity made in group so that we could understand the meaning process and the imaginary representations which emerge from it. Based on the Discursive Analysis, we could observe that the pedagogical discourse, while forming consensus on what it can or cannot be said, how things should be, how people must think and behavior, corroborates the logic of the so-called normal worlds.
