TROCAS E EXPERIÊNCIAS A PARTIR DA MODALIDADE DE ENSINO EAD

Abstract

This report is a summary of contents discussed during the course of a discipline offered by the graduate program in Human Geography of the University of São Paulo, with the intention of sharing the exchanges and experiences lived through the EAD teaching modality, which despite its limitations and problems, enabled the meeting with students from different states of the country and from different research areas. This report has as specific cut one of the classes of the course, entitled "Peripheral centralities and forms of resistance-struggle and contradictions", aiming to discuss the development of peripheral regions through the construction of mega-enterprises and new train/subway stations, resulting in the direct or indirect expulsion of low-income communities, as well as the organization and establishment of public policies aimed at the urbanization of slums and land regularization that, despite the resistance and struggle of the residents involved, they end up engendered in the dynamics of capitalist (re)production of space.
