Abstract

The pandemic COVID-19 imposed restrictions as a whole on society, measures of social distancing and closing of schools were taken in order to contain the spread of the virus in the population. Therefore, institutions of education had to reinvent themselves to continue the teaching-learning process, since it was necessary to fulfill their mission of forming society. Consequently, President Kennedy Institute of University Education (IFESP), guided teachers so that learning environments were created, with the objective of continuing the classes in the pedagogy graduate course. The recommendation was for the use of technological and information tools in order to reach all students and facilitate access to materials for the development of classes. Thus, this report of experience describes how the curricular component Theoric and Methodologic Foundations of the Geography Teaching I was taught remotely in a class of the graduate Pedagogy course in, the technological tools used, the methodological paths used and, mainly, the tensions and successes obtained during this process, marked by the new skills acquisition of knowledge and continuity of teaching and learning for this pandemic moment of.
